Membership of the Captain Scott Society is open to anyone who is keen to support the Spirit of Adventure that was a cornerstone of the voyages of Captain Scott.
The Society enjoys the support and membership of like minded enthusiasts from around the world and offers members both information and the opportunity to learn more about the polar exploits and adventures as well as supporting modern, exciting and challenging expeditions.
Membership is, initially, by application and prospective members need to demonstrate their interest and willingness in supporting the aims of the Society.
Membership of the Society is open to all persons who are proposed and seconded and receive a majority of votes from members of the Management Committee.
Members will be required to pay an annual subscription fee of £25 by Standing Order; in return they will receive an exclusive Society pin badge and receive periodic newsletters relating to the expeditions as well as the activities of more recent award winners. Members will also be able to purchase exclusive Society ties and a limited number of publications at cost price.
